How Medsocial Helps With Cancer

Having prostrate cancer is not the easiest thing in the world to leave with. I am only in my 60’s and while that may seem old to some of you, in this time and place, it is really not. I have two children who are the most important thing in the world to me, but they have their own lives, which is something that I want them to have. I don’t want them to waste some of their life worrying about the rest of mine. My wife is very supportive of what I am going too but it is sometimes hard for her to relate to her when she does not know what I am going through physically.
My therapist told me to talk to people that have similar experiences as me and I have done so. I am not that big of a talker to I decided to look online, then I found www.medsocial.com. A friend of mine who also has cancer told me about it and it has been a great help.
I love reading the blogs and the forum topics that people post and I also like the fact that there is a section for men like me, who have prostrate cancer, which is comforting. I like to see how others are doing who have the cancer and also those who have different types of cancer. Plus I get to keep in contact with my friends and meet new ones from all over.
I am not saying Medsocial will save my life but it did make it a more enjoyable one, especially if my life is close to the end.
